Every day your character is put to the test.

You make your plans, check off every detail, and sit back thinking — believing — that everything will turn out exactly as expected. Until some unknown variable kicks its way through the door and smashes your carefully thought-out plans to bits.

When our lives are turned upside down or interrupted in unwelcome ways, it’s hard not to get upset. We’re confused, disappointed, maybe even a little mad. Coming to grips with the sting of something or someone else taking over control of your life and changing the trajectory is often too much to bear — or accept.

Life is filled with examples of things and people we can’t control or anticipate. 

And dealing with the unknown while maintaining an optimistic attitude can be a challenge.
