I enjoy talking with people — friends and strangers alike.

For me, opening the vocal door to a conversation provides a form of connection that seems to be missing in so many of our lives.

Unfortunately, too many people have chosen to exist in a self-protective cocoon that separates them from distractions of any kind. Perhaps they feel a sense of shelter and safety in their virtual seclusion.

The result? Finding others to verbally engage with isn’t always a simple task.

In the current social climate, our hands-off tech-savvy culture has propagated a disturbing mindset — one that permeates the most basic of human instincts.
